Overview

Through research evaluating the efficacy and safety of pharmaceuticals, we aim to contribute to their appropriate use.

Specifically, we pursue research leading to personalized drug therapy by developing methods to assess the risk of adverse drug reactions and predict their occurrence. Our research methods encompass a broad range of approaches, including pharmacoepidemiological studies utilizing large-scale medical data (such as hospital electronic medical records and national claims data), clinical studies involving human subjects, and laboratory research using cell lines and experimental animals.
